About MidCoast Water
Every day MidCoast Water cleans and pumps almost 10 Olympic swimming pools worth of water through a network of over a thousand kilometres of pipes to make sure that the people of the Manning, Great Lakes and Gloucester have ready access to quality water for all their needs. That water is used by almost 80 000 people in 27 towns from Crowdy Head in the north, to Hawks Nest in the south, and Barrington in the west, before we take and treat the waste. All this without damaging the environments we take the water from and return it to after treatment.
How do we do it? This document covers everything from our water and sewer schemes to how we assure quality and pay for it all.
