Working to secure water supplies for the future 24/4/17
MidCoast Water's Operational Plan will deliver on a firm commitment to provide quality water and sewer services to the people of the MidCoast region by moving on important projects during the 2017-18 year. Administrator of MidCoast Water, John Turner said the coming year will see MidCoast Water invest in progressing the construction of a second water scheme for the Manning and Great Lakes communities as well as undertaking required water and sewer maintenance projects.

Joining forces to deliver breakfast program 7/11/16
Two local community based organisations have joined forces to deliver a program which aims to deliver a nutritional breakfast and health messages, while also encouraging school attendance. MidCoast Water has joined with the Biripi Aboriginal Corporation Medical Centre to deliver the Biripi Breakfast Club to children living near the Purfleet and Bushland medical centres.

Industry recognition for future water plan 1/11/16
MidCoast Water’s 30 year plan for providing sustainable water services to our community has been honoured with an industry award for innovation. The Our Water Our Future strategic plan, which was developed in consultation with the community was honoured with a highly commended award in the Innovation in water supply and wastewater category at the annual Engineering Excellence Awards, run by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA).

Whizzy to visit Gloucester library 26/10/16
Clap, clap – drink tap! That is the tune MidCoast Water’s well known mascot Whizzy the waterdrop will be singing as he entertains preschool aged children at the November library storytime session at Gloucester Library, as part of this year’s National Water Week activities.
