Customer service relocation

MidCoast Water Services customer service functions will move to Forster and Taree Council offices from Tuesday 3 April, providing a single point of service for all council and water services.
What will change?
Thursday 29 March, 1pm: the MidCoast Water Services offices at Muldoon Street Taree and Breese Parade Forster will close their doors, as the customer services staff prepare to move.
Friday 30 March - Monday 2 April: all Council and MidCoast Water Services offices are closed for Easter holidays.
Tuesday 3 April: Customer service staff for MidCoast Water Services and MidCoast Council will work together from the MidCoast Council offices in Forster (4-8 Breese Parade) and in Taree (2 Pulteney Street).
What will stay the same?
Same friendly faces: the MidCoast Water Services customer service team will continue to assist you with all your water enquiries.
Same great service: All current water and sewer services will be available from MidCoast Council offices in Forster and Taree.
Same phone number: 1300 133 455 Water Services customer service line remains the same, and will continue to operate 24/7 for emergencies and service difficulties.
Same ways to pay accounts: MidCoast Water Services accounts may also be paid at Australia Post, online or via Bpay.
Why are we doing this?
The integration of the customer service functions of Council and MidCoast Water Services is a vital step in delivering more efficient services to our customers.
Across MidCoast Council, dedicated teams are working on 20 major integration projects that bring together important organisation functions. The integration of the customer services functions of Council and MidCoast Water is one of these projects. This move is the first step in providing the community with one service point for all council enquiries.
The teams will be working together to provide business as usual from Tuesday 3 April. Other than a new location for all current water and sewer services, there will be little change to the service customers currently experience.
The new customer service team will be focussed on putting customer needs first while they work on integrating council and water business across the organisation in the months following the move.
